Community Gardening
This workshop will provide some reflections on our efforts to promote community gardening in South Osborne. We will start with the basic questions of why we should promote it and how we might best frame this community activity to engage our neighbours. We will then review the various types of land tenure and land use which range from gardening in your own back yard to the promotion of community common gardens and consider the underlying assumptions of property, usufruct rights, and common property. We will review the logistical steps of locating land, gaining permission to use it, applying for funds, and some of the best ways to gain support from the many stakeholders in the neighbourhood. We will discuss the various operational approaches that have been applied to harness support and involvement in these projects and discuss the practical issues of what kinds of resources and infrastructure help strengthen them. Finally we will touch upon how a loose network of cooperative support sand affiliation is being cultivated by Transition Winnipeg and other community groups.

I am unclear on what is canceled and what isn't. is "Intro to Circuits" a specific workshop that was supposed to happen? I don't see it mentioned in any previous posts.
